在9月4日的文章《你需要无法达成的目标》里，我谈到了若想取得非凡的进展，我们需要制定高不可及的目标。当时，JR 刚刚开学，我们一起订下了考到年级第一的目标。
半个学期过去了，JR 其中考试成绩，从上学期期末的年级20多名，往前进了10名，昨天老师在班上单独点名表扬了他。晚上睡前，我和他继续谈了谈学习成绩这件事。
我知道，尽管 JR 通过更多努力，取得了不小的进步，他的心态和方式还有许多可以改变的空间，而他并没有意识到这点。如果只是延续之前的状态，也许他的成绩可以再往前进几步，但想真的考到年级第一，可能真的是“无法达成的目标“。因为，他默认的思维和行为方式，和一只稳定在前几名的孩子，是不一样的。（今天不谈是否应该顺应应试教育这件事）
于是，睡前谈话里，我引用了美国作家大卫·福斯特·华莱士的著名演讲《这是水》里的故事，和他说明了跳脱出默认行为方式的必要性。
如果我们只是日复一日，不假思索的起床、穿衣、吃早饭、去学校、听课、完成作业、休息、睡觉，我们只是重复昨天的自己，这样的默认方式不被打破的话，一年后我我们，十年后的我们，不会有太大的变化。想要取得彻底的改变，想要质的飞跃，我们需要找到什么是我们熟悉到已经忘记的”水“，需要观察到只是下意识行动的我们，需要发现不经思考在做的事情，在产生的想法。
然后改变它，改进它。
只有这样，我们才能真的实现梦想。

互动（engagement）指的是，是社交媒体上人们与你的内容交互的程度。你可以理解为点赞、转发、回复、引用的数量。互动程度越高，平台往往认为这条内容更受欢迎，而发布内容的你，会觉得兴奋、有成就感，不知不觉就会上瘾。
产生高互动的因素有很多，今天我想谈谈应该小心哪种，鼓励哪种。
之所以想写这个话题，因为最近我在两个论坛发布的两个帖子，收到了很高的互动量（点赞和回复）。在互动量飙升的那段时间里，我下意识地不断刷新网站，想看有没有新的回复，也构思着怎么继续写出这样的帖子。
冷静下来，我很快意识到这样的互动，正好是我们应该去回避，而不是去争取的。先给你看看我写的什么吧。

昨天，我在 Reddit 上读到一个令人伤心的帖子：0.4个比特币被人瞬间从我的 coldcard 转走。帖主买来一个叫做 Coldcard 的比特币钱包（类似 u 盘一样的东西，用来离线存储比特币私钥），设置好新的钱包之后，陆续转入了两笔小金额，当他觉得一切正常，于是转入第三笔，也是最大一笔金额0.39个比特币时，突然出现一笔新的转账记录，有人通过他的钱包，转走了所有0.4个比特币。

自从 tvOS 17 允许网络代理应用上架 Apple TV（后文简称 ATV），它的使用门槛一下子降低了许多。简单来说，想要完整地使用 ATV，你不再需要额外的硬件（软路由、旁路由等）。
昨天，我下单了一台2022款第三代 4k ATV，打算把自用的第一代 4k 拿去给爸妈用。得益于这次更新带来的网络代理工具，我只需要配置好网络和常用的 app，爸妈很快就能上手。
四年前，我曾做过一个如何使用 Apple TV 的视频，四年后，我看电视的时间少了许多，用来看电视的 app 也大都不同。不如，借着最近折腾的契机，写一写目前使用 ATV 的方式吧。
文章分为“网络”和“应用”两部分，如果你没有接触过 ATV，照搬有点难度，不过，读完你至少可以知道，原来可以这样看电视！

你可以在 ATV 上看 YouTube，看 Netflix，看 NBA 直播，但这些流媒体，都需要一个完整的互联网。可是，国内的网络不完整，怎么办？你需要一个海外服务器，和一个让你通过这个海外服务器连结完整互联网的工具。

• High agency information diets appear selfish, but in the pursuit of directed focus, they can actually have an impact on a cause.

机会成本有两种。一种是显而易见的，当你犯了错，造成损失，或者付出很多却没有回报时，你很快发现错失了什么机会。另一种则隐藏地很深，当你做某件事情，带来了收益或“成功”，于是你加倍投入，直到有一天发现自己并不快乐，错过了自己真正想要的东西，造成了无法挽回的损失。
第一种机会成本在短期就能体现，我们可以快速调头。
拿我举例，今天早上看到投资标的突然跳涨，我兴奋不已，不停刷行情图，刷推特消息，刷 Reddit 论坛。不知不觉，一只刷到了9点。而早上本来需要做的事情，比如锻炼、阅读、写日记，一件都没有做。这便是短期就能发现的机会成本：我浪费了一上午时间，没有任何收获，损失了带给健康和心灵更多好处的机会。
第二种机会成本，因为暗藏在“成功”的阴影之下，需要机缘巧合才能被发现，也有可能，一辈子都发现不了。
